Greenfest Philly is the largest environmental festival in the Philadelphia area. With over 100 exhibitors and vendors, Greenfest is the place to learn about living sustainably while having fun! This event has something for everyone: shopping for local green wares, great food, live music, live demonstrations, kid-friendly activities, and more. Montco Greens will be sharing a table with other local Green Party chapters.

How does the Green Party of Pennsylvania decide what to do?
Jill Stein, a physician from Massachusetts, has received enough delegates to secure the Green Party's nomination for the office of President.
Reminder! The next State Committee meeting will be Sunday, July 24th, 10:30 AM-12:00 PM at the Penn Newman Center, 3720 Chestnut Street. We will then go en masse to the March for a Clean Energy Revolution in Center City.

The agenda for our Presidential Caucus on April 23rd is below the break.
The Montco Greens presidential caucus will be at the Jenkintown Library Saturday, April 23rd, from 1-4 pm. The caucus is open to the public; however, only PA voters registered Green may vote for a presidential candidate.
Our guest speaker Steve Welzer from the Green Party of New Jersey. He will talk about Green Party organizing. Steve is one of NJGP's founding members and is running for Congress in NJ's 12th district.
We hope to see you there! You can drop in anytime between 1 and 4 to vote or to meet other interested people.
The next GPPA meeting is on April 30th in Harrisburg.
According to the CDC, in 2014, there were 49 confirmed cases of lead poisoning in Montco out of 7421 people tested.
